Once upon a time there lived a Zhumsauk woman. She caused a lot of trouble to people, tricking them into working for her.
One well-respected elder decided to teach the woman a lesson - to shame her. But Zhumsauk, noticing the elder from afar, shouted:
“Whoever you are, grab a dog bowl from the yard!”
Graybeard thought: “I’ll shame her,” and brought the dog’s bowl into the house. Zhumsauk pretended as if she had just seen the honorary aksakal, and started babbling:
- Oh God! Is that you? I'm really ashamed. Damn this bowl... Please throw it away!
- Finally, you are ashamed! – and the satisfied elder went to put the dog’s bowl back in its place. The Zhumsauk woman laughed loudly after him. Only then did the greybeard realize that ordinary people serve the zhumsauk once, but he served twice.
