Once in one country the emperor wanted to know about life, death and life after death. He called his wise men and asked them. And they answered him:

“If we knew about this, we wouldn’t even be here.” We are just as ignorant as you, the only difference being that you are a ruler and rich, and we are wise men who earn our living by doing so. We don't know. To find out, you must leave your palace and seek the Master. The master will never come here to you. You must find the master yourself.

And the emperor went in search. He visited all the famous saints and still was not satisfied. And again he called the wise men to him and said to them:

- Well, I went around everyone who could be found in the empire, but there was no point!

And again he heard in response:

- You're looking in the wrong place. So you'll never find it. You go to all the famous people. Are there any Masters among them? A true Master never becomes famous, it happens too rarely. And then, the true Master strives to wander in any way, so only real seekers can find him, and not curious people who always ask in passing. You've been looking in the wrong places. We know one person here in the capital, try going to him.

And this man was a beggar and lived with other beggars under the bridge. The emperor could not believe that this was the same person, but something came from the beggar, some special radiation - invisible light. And something unknown touched the emperor and changed something in him. And, without realizing his actions, the emperor touched the beggar’s feet, as if he were the emperor, and he, the emperor, was a beggar supplicant. He was amazed at himself that he did this. And the beggar said:

-You're accepted.
