Woodcutter's Dream

Woodcutter's Dream

One woodcutter had a very good dream, from which he was suddenly awakened. Waking up, he exclaimed with displeasure:

- Why did you wake me up? I was a king. I had seven sons. They all studied different sciences, and I sat on the throne and ruled my country. Why did you destroy all this?

The man who woke him said:

- But it was a dream. What to regret now! But the woodcutter answered:

- Go away, fool! You don’t understand that I was as real a king as I am now a woodcutter. If it is true that I am now a woodcutter, it is equally true that then I was a king.
