Wolf and fox

One day a fox wandered into a landfill and found tattered boots there. She put her front paws in them and went to show off through the forest. The wolf saw her and asked:

- Godmother, godmother, where did you buy these boots?

“I didn’t buy it anywhere, I sewed it myself,” the fox answers.

- Can you sew for me?

- If you please.

- Will you take it expensive?

- How can I tell you... Mine took three lambs, two ewe lambs and four lambs. And for yours, godfather, perhaps a bull, four lambs, three lambs and five or six lambs, no more, will be enough.

“Expensive,” the wolf sighed.

- What can you do? Those paws you have are not like my paws, they need a lot of skin.

The wolf believed the cheat and decided at all costs to get the cattle that the fox ordered. He really wanted boots! It’s bad for the barefoot: just look, you’ll get a splinter or get hurt, and then what kind of hunter are you? The wolf tried for a long time and finally got a bull, and a lamb, and sheep, and lambs. And the fox is happy: she now has plenty of food supplies.

The fox promised to sew boots for the wolf in two weeks. At the appointed time, the wolf went to the fox for an order, but she hid and did not come out. He went to the fox's hole many times, but to no avail. The wolf realized that he had been deceived, and decided to punish the red-haired cheat. He wandered through the forest for a long time, clicking his teeth in anger, and then one day he came face to face with a deceiving fox.

- So tell me, where are my boots? And the fox said to him in a sweet voice:

- Don’t be angry, kumanek, cow’s skin is rough, you won’t be able to remove it soon.

- So I believed you! - the wolf growled. - Now you will pay for everything with me.

The fox took off running, ran and ran, saw a hole - he dashed into it! But I didn’t have time to pick up the tail. The wolf grabbed the tail with his teeth and pulled it - and tore it off!

“Yeah,” he says, “now you can’t hide from me.” I recognize you right away.

The fox sat in the hole, and the next day he climbed up to a higher hillock and, well, yelped. The fox and the cheat came running to this call and said:

“I called you for a reason, but on a very important matter.” I recently visited abroad, learned a fun dance there, and now I’ll teach you too. You just need to get everyone in touch first.

The foxes obeyed and did as they were told. Then the cheat will scream:

- Save yourself who can! Hunters are coming here with a whole pack of dogs! Goodbye, sisters, we'll dance another time!

The foxes got scared, scattered, and their tails were torn off. And that’s all the fraudster needs.

Some time later, the wolf and the fox met again.

- Gotcha! - the wolf growls. - I recognized you immediately!

- What are you talking about, godfather! What have I done to you? Yes, I just moved to your forest yesterday!

- Don't lie! - The wolf became even more angry. “Have you forgotten how I tore off your tail?”

- What are you talking about, little gray one, now foxes don’t wear tails at all! Not fashionable! Come with me, you'll see for yourself.

She led him to a hillock; barked twice, the foxes came running to her call - all of them, tailless! The wolf sighed and walked away.
