Three thieves broke into Afandi's neighbor and stole two blankets from him. Going out into the street, the thieves fought because they could not divide these two blankets between themselves.
Awakened by the noise, Afandi hurriedly wrapped himself in his blanket and went outside to find out what was happening. The thieves, seeing him, shouted: “The dispute is over!”, pulled the blanket off Afandi and - each with equal loot - ran away.
Shivering from the cold, Afandi returned to the house.
- What kind of scandal was there? - asked his wife.
“There was a small dispute,” replied Afandi, “and I wisely helped resolve it!”
