Wisdom of the Spider

One day a juok asked the Sun and Moon:

— In your opinion, are there many people on Earth or few?

“A lot,” answered Luna.

“Not enough,” answered the Sun. “I see people dying every now and then.”

- Looks like you. Sun, you don't know anything! - said the juok.

The Sun got angry.

“I know little about people,” it said, “because they always hide when I rise.” My rays are too hot for them. And the moon shines softly, so they go out to meet her at night. Is this fair?

And the angry Sun scorched the tender Moon in anger. Dark scars are still visible on Luna's face. And she still stays away from the Sun.

Then the juok said:

- The sun is very lonely, he has neither sisters nor brothers. I will now conjure and create another Sun. But the spider heard him and said:

- Don't you dare do that, juok! If there are two Suns in the sky, all people will die. And the juok did not cast any spell. But the Sun heard everything and shouted to the spider:

“You, spider, dissuaded the juok, and for this I don’t want to see you again.” From now on, don't you dare appear in my sight!

Since then, all spiders hide during the day and come out to hunt only at night.
