A high three-hundred-meter stone wall surrounded the Wilibha Falls. River palms and bushes completely surrounded it. A wonderful view opens up to the place where water falls from a great height. Here you can swim and bathe under the foamy curtain of water that falls on the surface of the lagoon. This waterfall is magical. Since time immemorial, he has been protecting local animals and plants. To the east you can find deer, raccoons, wild boars, armadillos, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, badgers and ocelots. But in the west, only poisonous snakes live - nauiaks.

Three mistresses lived here: the mistress of the waterfall was called Josefina, the mistress of the eastern mountains was Caridad, and the third had the same name as the first, but it was only pronounced slightly differently. Often, all three housewives organized celebrations and dances. They were always attended by Don Santiago Feliciano Gomez, whose nagual was a puma. It was possible to meet other people here, for example, his comrade, whose nagual was considered a black jaguar, just like a panther.

One day this panther took and stole an armadillo, the housewife’s favorite animal, which they often used as a seat. The panther, of course, ate the poor armadillo, but did it on the sly, because, having stolen the armadillo, she did not want anyone to know about it.

Meanwhile, the housewives began to call the armadillo so that we could sit and rest, which they did with great pleasure. Without calling him, the housewives realized that he had apparently disappeared somewhere, or, even worse, died.

And then at night a puma, the nagual of Don Santiago Feliciano Gomez, came into the cave. She wasn't allowed to come here. Since she did this, the housewives immediately accused her of kidnapping her beloved armadillo.

The Nagual remained silent: he was terribly embarrassed that he had been wrongly accused of something he had not done. Then the enraged Josefina unleashed a whirlwind that was supposed to punish the offender. Feeling no guilt, the nagual Gomez entered into single combat with the wind.

Feeling that the wind was about to overcome him, he shouted:

“I didn’t kidnap your armadillo!” I didn't eat it! It was my friend, the black jaguar, my godfather's nagual. He kidnapped the armadillo to feast on its tender meat.

They say that Josefina, the owner of the Willibha Falls, has a tapir, which is also called a mountain donkey. When she places a load on it, she uses the nauyak kites as ropes to tie the load down. And so Josefina ordered the whirlwind to find the nagual panther and put it in a bag, which he did. Then the bag containing the nagual was placed on the tapir and tied with nahuyaks. The snakes began to bite the panther - and it died. But this was not enough for the angry owner - she threw the bag from the top of the wall surrounding the waterfall into the water. They say that even now the roar of a panther can be heard coming from the cave on dark nights.
