Once upon a time there lived an old man and an old woman. They had a son who had a black mare. Every spring the boy left the caravan—. nom, and returned in the fall, having earned money.
One day the boy returned early in the summer. The old people were surprised:
- Why did you come back so early?
“I’ve already earned my money,” he replied. And in the fall another boy came to them for
black mare. The old people were confused: who is their real son? The boys argued among themselves. - Get out of here, you are a stranger, these old people are my parents.
There was nothing to be done, the old men went to the khan so that he could recognize their son. They told what happened. . Khan answered them:
- The one who came first and took care of you all summer, fed you, gave you water - your son.
On the way home, they met children playing on the slide. The old people told about their misfortune.
“What did the khan decide?” asked the little boy.
“He said that our son was the one who arrived first,” the old men answered.
- I'll try to find out the truth. Let them run up to that hill and back.
The twin boys on black mares set off in a race and returned at the same time, head to head. And again they began to argue among themselves.
Then the little boy told them to make two clay jugs.
- If you really are sons, get in there.
The first boy immediately climbed into the jug, but the second, who arrived in the fall, could not even put his fist in there. The little boy quickly corked the jug and said to the old men:
- Shulbus is sitting there. Would a person be able to fit in there?
And he threw the jug into the fire. The old people were happy and went home with their real son.
And the wise boy sent the guys to the khan to say that he was wrong and could not be khan after that.
Khan got angry and came to see who was so smart. I saw a little boy in front of me. The khan felt ashamed, he hit his horse with a whip and rushed off.
