There is no water at home,” the grandmother told her granddaughter, “I’ll go to the river and bring it.”

Grandmother took a bucket and went to get water. Before the grandmother had time to leave, the granddaughter also wanted to go get water. The granddaughter took a small bucket and followed her grandmother. The cockerel stayed at home, but he also wanted to go for water. The cockerel took a small bucket and followed the grandmother and granddaughter. And at this time a mouse stuck its head out of its hole, thought and thought, and also decided to go for water. The mouse took a bucket, small as a finger, and ran to the river.

So they all gathered on the river. We got some water and went home: the grandmother was in front, the granddaughter was behind the grandmother, the cockerel was behind the granddaughter, and the little mouse was behind the cockerel.

There was an apple tree growing on the edge of the road, and a gray bunny was sleeping under the apple tree. The wind blew and shook the top of the apple tree. Suddenly one apple fell from the top and hit the bunny right on the forehead. The bunny jumped up, jumped and fell right under the grandmother’s feet. The grandmother got scared, fell and spilled all the water.

What a wonderful thing!

The bunny was also scared. He ran as fast as he could and came across his granddaughter. The granddaughter fell and spilled all the water.

Well, it worked out!

The bunny got even more scared and ran even faster. He didn’t notice how he collided with a cockerel. The cockerel crowed and dropped the bucket. There was such fear!

And the little mouse, as soon as she saw that the bunny was running as fast as she could, threw the bucket and dived into the bushes.

Then the grandmother calmed down, thought and thought, and said to herself: “What a blessing that I was saved from the bear!”

The granddaughter also thought about it and said to herself: “What a blessing that I was saved from the wolf!”

The cockerel thought and thought and said: “What a blessing that I escaped from the fox!”

And the mouse sits in the bushes, is afraid to look out and thinks: “What a blessing that I was saved from the scary cat!”

And at this time the poor bunny ran and ran.

He ran into the forest and buried himself in a pile of leaves. When I had calmed down a little, I thought: “Well, I was exhausted! And they were hunting for me, and rushing at me!.. I barely escaped!”
