There lived a very stupid man. Every morning, getting out of bed, he found his clothes with great difficulty, and in the evening he was afraid to go to bed, remembering the morning incident.
Finally, one day he made what seemed to him a completely reasonable decision: he took out paper and a pencil and, while undressing, wrote down where he put each thing. Waking up the next day in a wonderful mood, he took out the note and began to read: “hat” was in place, he put it on, “pants” were lying next to him, he pulled them on, and so on, until he had successfully completed his entire morning toilet. However, not even a minute had passed before he asked himself in great fear:
- Yes, but where am I? Where have I gone? He began to search for himself, but all searches turned out to be
vain: he was never able to find himself.
