A hermit in an orange robe once came to a village that was full of unbelievers. He was surrounded by young people, calling on him to show where God, who was so deeply revered by him, lived. He said he could do it, but first let them give him a cup of milk.
When the milk was placed in front of him, he did not drink it, but looked at it for a long time and silently with increasing curiosity. The young people became impatient, their demands became more and more insistent. Then the hermit said to them:
- Wait a minute; They say milk contains butter, but no matter how hard I tried, I didn’t see it in this cup.
The youth began to laugh at his naivety.
- You stupid man! Don't make such ridiculous conclusions. Every drop of milk contains oil, which makes it nutritious. To get and see it, you need to boil the milk, cool it, add curdled milk, wait a few hours for it to curdle, then beat and remove the piece of butter that appears on the surface.
- Oh so! - said the ascetic, - now it is much easier for me to explain to you where God lives. He is everywhere, in every being, in every atom of the Universe, thanks to which they all exist and we perceive them and rejoice in them. But to see Him as a real entity, you need to strictly, earnestly and sincerely follow the prescribed rules. Then, at the end of this process, you will experience His mercy and His power.
