There was a khan. He heard a lot about female infidelity and therefore did not dare to marry. Every three days he took the girl and then killed her.
One day it was the turn of the daughter of a vizier. This vizier, coming home, began to cry. His daughter asked him:
-What are you crying about? Her father told her that death awaited her. Then the daughter says:
- Don't cry! God willing, I will either die or deliver all the girls from such a khan.
The vizier took his daughter to the khan. From the very beginning, the girl began to entertain the khan with all sorts of interesting stories. Khan listened to everything for thirty days and did not execute the girl. The people rejoiced: the executions stopped.
One day the khan said to the vizier’s daughter:
“I’ll go hunting and return in a year, and during this time you will give me a son who looks like me.” My mare should bring a foal similar to my black stallion.
When the khan left, the vizier's daughter called her father and told him everything. The father began to cry. But the girl calmed him down and said that she also intended to go on a hike. The Khansha gathered many maidservants, dressed them in men's dress, and put on the Khan's dress herself. And everyone went after the khan. They met him while hunting. The vizier's daughter's men turned out to be better hunters than the khan's men.
Khan asked them:
- Who are you?
They said that the son of their khan had come to hunt, they were from his retinue. Khan met the Khan's son. The girl invited the khan to visit. She treated him and talked to him. Then they started playing chess. The girl beat the khan: she won gold, silver and a black stallion from him. She sent all this to her father, ordering him to let the black stallion go to school. The girl herself remained hunting. One day she told the khan:
– I really liked you. I have a sister whom I don’t want to marry to anyone. I'll introduce you to her.
Khan agreed. We set up a tent. The girl, dressed in a woman's dress, came to the khan. Khan immediately fell in love with her. He did not want to let the girl go from him, but she did not stay long. This was repeated for several days. When the girl left the khan, she changed into a man's dress and went hunting.
After some time, the girl returned the gold, silver and black stallion to the khan.
“I,” she said, “don’t need any of this!” Then the khan began to ask the khan’s son to marry his sister to him, but he refused, making the excuse that he had made a vow not to marry her off to anyone.
The khan begged the khan's son to bring his sister with him when he came to visit him. He promised.
The girl returned home before the khan. Several days passed and she gave birth to a son, and the black mare gave birth to a foal.
The news came that the Khan was returning. The vizier's daughter met him. Khan asked her if she had carried out his orders. She replied:
- I did it!..
The vizier's daughter asked to bring the foal - it could not be distinguished from the black stallion on which the khan had arrived. She asked to bring her son - he could not be distinguished from the khan. Khan didn’t believe it. He became angry that the vizier’s daughter had deceived him.
Then the Khansha asked him:
– When you were hunting in the steppe, did you meet the son of such and such a khan there?
“I met,” said the khan, “and hunted with him.”
– Didn’t he win your black stallion? – asked the vizier’s daughter.
- I won.
– Didn’t he introduce you to his sister? – asked the vizier’s daughter.
“Yes, that was it,” said the khan. Then the vizier's daughter said:
– The Khan’s son you met was me; his sister was me too.
Then the khan said to her:
“I have never seen such a stupid woman like you!” Do you really want to deceive me? Get out of here!..
The vizier's daughter went out, changed into the men's dress she wore while hunting and saw the khan, and also dressed the people she went hunting with in men's clothes, and sent to tell the khan that his friend had arrived. Khan came out and said hello. Then the khan said to the guest:
“My insidious wife wants to deceive me and invents various fables.
And he told his friend everything that happened to him during his arrival home. The guest said to the khan:
- That is your wife.
And the vizier’s daughter took off her man’s dress. Khan was very surprised, admitted his stupidity and married her.
