Two roosters

by
Two roosters
Enlight

Two roosters started a fight. The loser hid in a secluded place, and the winner flew up onto a high roof and crowed at the top of his lungs, boasting of his victory.

The proud man was noticed by an eagle. He fell onto the roof like a stone, hit the rooster with his wing, grabbed it and carried it away.

This fable teaches modesty. You should not boast too much of your strength and praise yourself uncontrollably.
