Two people were walking through the desert and heatedly arguing about something.

One, every now and then, licking his thin dry lips with a yellowish coating frozen on them, passionately proved something to the second, but he only winced contemptuously and grinned hoarsely:

“Your speeches are crazy,” and in turn began to develop his own ideas.

But soon the first one impatiently interrupted the second one, and everything started all over again.

Each of them defended their rightness, tried to demonstrate their strength, and sought to convert them to their faith.

And now, on the threshold of night, the argument turned into a quarrel, and hostility was ready to break out. And each one was already shouting to the other that they could do without him. And then, without saying a word, they decided to go separately - each their own way. A cold, gloomy night had already surrounded them. And the desert stretched all around. And the first one boldly stepped into the darkness. But soon he heard the steps of his companion behind him and thought:

- What strength I have! He followed me because he couldn't do without me.

- Still, how weak he is! I must go after him in order to protect him from troubles and dangers, otherwise this will lie on my conscience,” the other thought at that time, catching up with the first...
