One day Mulla met a man selling a parrot at the bazaar and asked:

- What is this?

“Parrot,” they answered him.

- How much does it cost?

- Fifty coins.

Mullah, without saying a word, returned home, caught a turkey and brought it to the market.

“Mulla,” they asked him, “how much do you want for your turkey?”

- Five hundred coins.

“Ay, Mulla,” they began to reason with him, “have you gone crazy, or what?” Can a turkey cost that much?

Mulla pointed to the parrot seller:

“He sells such a small bird for fifty, you don’t say anything, but I valued a turkey the size of a whole ram at five hundred coins, and you still reproach me.” Isn't my turkey thirty times bigger than this parrot?

“But it’s a parrot, Mulla,” said one of those present.

- Well, this is a turkey.

- Yes, but the parrot can talk like a preacher.

- So what! The turkey is always immersed in thoughts, like a scientist. What do you think is better?
