Molla Nasreddin was sitting in a teahouse with friends. One man came there and was jealous of Molla's ability to find answers to unexpected questions. He decided to disgrace Molla in front of his friends by asking him a tricky question, to which he could not immediately find an answer.

- Molla, and Molla, tell me, do you believe that our world was created by God?

“Yes,” Molla answered simply.

“Okay,” then the man took a nut out of his pocket, and took a date from the dish and placed them in front of Molla.

“So explain to me why divine providence made the outer part of the date edible, and the inner part of the nut.” A?

“Divine providence,” said Nasreddin, thoughtfully finishing a date, “does not care about how what he created will be eaten.” Divine providence takes care of the preservation of what was created forever,” Molla continued, finishing the nut.
