Traveler's Tale

A traveler was traveling through the forest in winter and got lost. I got lost until the evening, and then the snowstorm began.

He drove for a long time until he reached a house. He came in and asked to stay for the night. And the owners only allowed him to stay when he promised to tell fairy tales all night. The tired traveler warmed up a little, and all the household members sat down around him to listen.

“The only agreement,” he began, “is not to interrupt me to anyone, not to ask questions until I finish telling the story.” As soon as someone interrupts, that’s the end of the fairy tales - I’m going to bed.

Everyone agreed, and the traveler began to tell:

“Once I was walking through a forest, a dense forest. Yes, I was walking through a dense, dense forest. Then suddenly a crow flies. Yes, that means a crow is flying, a black crow. Here a crow flies, flies, does not come down, and so - everything flies and flies, now higher, now lower, and everything flies, this black crow flies, does not descend...

- Well, won’t there be anything else? – someone asked him.

“Since you are disturbing me, then, as agreed, my fairy tale is over,” answered the traveler, lay down on a warm bed and slept peacefully until the morning.
