It is said that Aurangazeb, the Mongol emperor, imprisoned his father in his old age. Aurangazeb's father, Shah Jahan, built the Taj Mahal. Aurangazeb overthrew him and imprisoned him. They say, and it is written in Aurangazeb’s autobiography, that after a few days Shah Jahan ceased to be burdened by his imprisonment, because he was not denied any luxury. He was kept in the palace and lived as before. It didn't feel like a prison; he had absolutely everything, only one thing was missing - activity, he had nothing to do, and he said to his son Aurangazeb:
“Everything is fine, you provided me with everything.” If you can, do just one more thing, and I will be grateful to you forever. Send me thirty boys, I want to teach them.
Aurangazeb could not believe his ears: “Why does my father want to teach these thirty boys?” Never showed any inclination to be a teacher, never was interested in any kind of education. But he fulfilled this wish. He sent thirty boys to his father, and everything was fine. He again became emperor over thirty boys.
Go to a primary school, you will see that the teacher is almost an emperor: he can order them to sit and they will sit, he can order them to stand and they will stand. And in a room with thirty boys, he recreated the entire situation of his yard - out of an old habit, out of an old need to order people.
Aurangazeb writes in his autobiography: “My father, just out of old habit, still wants to pretend to be an emperor. So let him pretend and make a fool of himself, there is nothing wrong with that. Give him thirty boys or three hundred - as many as he wants, let him set up a madrasah, a small school and be happy.”
Activity is when the action does not correspond to reality. Take a look at yourself and you will see that 90 percent of your energy is wasted in activity. Because of this, when the moment to act comes, you lack energy.
