Tiger, yak and fox

Tiger, yak and fox

It happened that a bull once met a tiger cub. They began to live together in the forest and became friends. They couldn't go a day without seeing each other.

Day after day, a year has passed. The tiger cub became a huge tiger, and everyone around him trembled from his roar. And the bull turned into a large yak, with its horns it could pierce a hundred-year-old pine tree.

Like siblings, the tiger and the yak loved each other. The tiger will wake up in the morning, stretch out, scratch the ground with its claws and immediately go to the yak. And the yak gets up, waves its tail, digs the ground with its horn and hurries towards the tiger. This happened every morning.

All the animals in the forest rejoiced at this friendship. Only one fox, the vile one, was unhappy. Because she had no benefit from this Friendship.

One day a fox came to a tiger, lowered its tail and ears, and began to cry.

- Why are you crying? - asks the tiger.

- I feel sorry for you! - the fox groans. “Your enemy wants to kill you, but you don’t even know it.”

The tiger answers:

- As long as the yak is friends with me, I am not afraid of any enemy! No one can defeat us!

- Yes, after all, I am your enemy. He's the one who wants to kill you! - the fox yelped. The tiger didn't believe it:

- You're lying! Yak my friend! The fox cried louder:

- How come you don’t believe me? I'm your aunt. I myself heard the yak say to the snake: “Tomorrow morning I will wake up, swing my tail, dig the ground with my horn and throw myself at the tiger!”

- OK! - the tiger barked, - I’ll check if everything will be as you say. If not, I'll skin you!

After that, the fox ran to the yak, lowered its tail and ears, and began to cry.

- Why are you crying? - asks the yak.

- I feel sorry for you! Your enemy wants to kill you, but you don’t even know it.

Yak answers:

- As long as the tiger is my friend, no one is afraid of me. Together with him we will defeat every beast!

- But the tiger wants to kill you! He is your enemy!

- Get out! - the yak got angry. - The tiger is definitely my brother!

The fox barked even louder:

- How come you don’t believe me? I'm your aunt! I myself heard the tiger say to the snake: “Tomorrow morning I will wake up, stretch, scratch the ground with my claws and rush at the yak!”

“Look,” said the yak, “I’ll check if everything will be so.” If you deceived me, you will hang on my horns!

And then the morning came. Friends woke up, looking at each other, watching what each of them would do. The tiger saw that the yak waved its tail and stared at the ground with its horns, and the yak saw that the tiger was stretching and scraping the ground with its claws.

Then each of them thought: “The fox said the truth: now he will kill me!”

And they rushed at each other in rage.

The tiger grabbed the buffalo by the throat, and the yak plunged its horns into the tiger's chest.

And both fell dead.

Then a fox with her cubs came out from behind the bushes, barked joyfully and rushed to her dead friends.

“Now we will eat meat all year,” she told the foxes. “We’ll be full ourselves, and we’ll treat the other foxes too!”

This is how it turns out: if you believe the villain, you will kill your friend, and you will also lose your life!
