One day, in search of food, a fox climbed into dense forest thickets. Suddenly a tiger jumped out to meet her.
In fright, the fox started to run. The tiger chased after her. The road was blocked by a deep ravine. Then the fox jumped onto a stone and began to cry bitterly.
The tiger was surprised and asked:
-What are you crying about, fox?
- Oh, I saw you and remembered your dad! He was so agile - he jumped over the widest ravines. Oh, apparently I’ll never have to admire such dexterity again!
The tiger wanted to show off to the fox and jumped over the ravine. But he didn’t jump over it, fell to the bottom and died.
- So I knew: you are far from your dad! - said the fox and went
on your own way.
