A long time ago, a king built a palace, all the walls, floors and ceilings of which were made of mirrors.
One day a dog ran into the palace. Looking around, she saw many dogs around her. Being very intelligent and cautious, she bared her teeth just in case to protect herself from these millions of dogs and to scare them. All the dogs immediately bared their teeth in response. The dog growled quietly - they (there was a booming echo in the palace) answered her with a threat. Now the dog was absolutely sure that its life was in danger, and began to bark loudly. But when she barked, the dogs in the mirrors also began to bark desperately. And the more she barked, the louder, as it seemed to the poor dog, they answered her.
In the morning the unfortunate dog was found dead. But she was alone in the palace. No one fought her because the palace was empty. She just saw herself in many mirrors and got scared. And when she began to fight, the reflections in the mirrors also began to fight. She died fighting a million of her own reflections.
