The leader of the robbers got wind that the old woman had saved the boy, sheltered him, sent a messenger to her, and ordered the boy to be driven away. If she disobeys, death awaits her. The old woman felt sorry for the boy, and she took him to a thatched hut by the river and left him there.
And then one day a ship landed on the shore, right opposite the hut. And on the ship is a venerable old man. The old man came out onto the deck and said to the boy:
“You are the son of Minister Kim, I know, and I came here to save you.”
The old man took little Kim onto the ship, and then took him to the mountains, where his home was. And he began to teach magic. When Kim was sixteen years old, the elder said to him:
- Return to your homeland immediately. The robbers dared to raise their hands against the king, a big war is coming. The king is in danger. You must help him. And in three years, in this month and on this same day, we will meet.
And Kim went home. He walked and walked, and suddenly he saw a wild horse galloping towards him. She jumped up and stopped. “Isn’t this a dragon horse?” the young man thinks and jumped onto the horse. How the horse will rush, how it will carry him!
Then suddenly she began to beat the ground with her hoof, as if she was showing something. The young man began to dig the ground. He dug and dug, and suddenly he looked - armor and spears. Not simple, magical. The young man put on armor and took a spear - like a famous commander.
The young man reached the royal palace, and there were robbers everywhere, and at any moment they would take the fortress. Kim turned into a bird, turned his horse into a bird, flew to the palace, took on his former appearance and appeared before the king.
Kim bowed low to him and said:
- Your Majesty, I am the son of Minister Kim. I can crush the enemy. Allow me to speak right now!
The king was delighted and granted Kim the title of grand marshal.
Kim turned into a dog and went on reconnaissance into the enemy camp. And there the werebear stands, fire bursts out of its mouth, and reaches the walls of the royal palace. And the fox is a thousand years old, and the rat is ten thousand years old, waving its tail - lightning flashes, water flows like a river from its tail, and at any moment the palace will be flooded. And the hundred-year-old tiger throws fiery arrows at the palace.
Kim used magical powers here - he extinguished the fire, raised the mountain high so that the palace would not be flooded, and filled the fire arrows with water. But he did not defeat the enemy warriors - there are no number of them. And Kim’s fiancee, Minister Lee’s daughter, died in the enemy camp, and Lee himself also died.
Kim and the king retreated to the island. But their enemies found them: the thousand-year-old fox knew a lot about astrology. And the rat waved its tail, and streams of water fell on the island. Kim fell asleep, and a moth appeared to him in a dream and ordered him to fly after him.
Kim turned into a swallow and flew after the moth. They fly and fly, thousands have flown by. We flew to a mountain cave. As soon as we entered the cave, the moth disappeared somewhere. Kim cast a spell, and instantly they found themselves on the island where the king and his warriors had taken refuge. Kim and his friend rushed into battle, but the friend soon died and the island was flooded. The rat swung its tail and brought rivers of water down onto the island.
Kim and the king moved to another island, and it was also flooded. Kim fell asleep and saw a crow. He turned into a swallow and flew after the crow.
He flew into a mountain cave. And in the cave is the second named brother. The one that saved Kim. He is reading a book about how to fight the enemy. They went together to the island to take revenge on the robbers. But soon Kim was left alone again - his second sworn brother also died in battle. Kim and the king moved to the third island. They look and the water is coming towards him.
Kim and the king boarded the ship and sailed out to the open sea. Then a venerable old man descended from Heaven. And this happened neither earlier nor later, but on the day when he promised to meet with the young man. The elder said:
“I didn’t finish teaching you, I sent you to help the king.” And now he has come to save you.
The old man cast a magic spell here, and at that moment the Sky darkened.
Lightning flashed, thunder roared, they struck the enemy warriors, and they fell lifeless to the ground.
Everything became quiet, calmed down. Send Kim and the elder to the enemy camp. Kim found his mother and the sister of his second half-brother there. He took them and returned home with the king.
