One day two people (one of them was mute) were working in the field. They were so carried away that they did not notice how it got dark, and the path to the village was not close, and they decided to spend the night in a field.
The night turned out to be very cold. So they hung their hammocks close to the fire.
After some time, one of them saw a completely naked little man (no more than two palms in height) come out onto the field. In silence, he walked up to the fire and began to warm his palms.
Then he came over to check if people were sleeping. Having made sure of this, the little man returned to the fire and quickly pulled out the hot brands, which he placed under the hammocks. Then he returned to the fire to warm his hands.
This continued until the hunter fell asleep. He woke up already at dawn. The weather was wonderful all around, but the little man disappeared.
