The astrologer thought and answered:
“You will live another ten years.”
The padishah believed him and fell ill from grief. Having learned about the cause of the padishah’s illness, the vizier ordered the astrologer to be brought to the palace and turned to him with a question:
- Tell me, astrologer, how many years do you have left to live?
The astrologer looked at the sky for a long time, calculated something, thought, and finally answered:
“I have another twenty years to live.”
“Cut off his head now!” - ordered the vizier.
And the astrologer was gone.
Seeing this, the padishah immediately recovered.
