- Dog. One day I saw a dog, almost dying of thirst, standing at the edge of the water. Every time he leaned over, he saw his own reflection, got scared and jumped back because he thought there was another dog there.
But his thirst became so great that he cast aside his fear, jumped into the water - and the reflection disappeared. The dog discovered that he himself was the obstacle - as soon as he took a step, the barrier between him and what he was looking for disappeared.
In the same way, my own obstacle disappeared when I realized that this was what I considered to be myself. And my Path was first shown to me by the behavior of a dog.
