At home, he had to ask his wife to go to the godfather for a measure (almud) in order to weigh the money he found.
The woman took the measure and brought it to her husband. He weighed the money he found and ordered his wife to return the almud to his neighbor, but did not notice that a coin was stuck to it. The godfather found this coin and immediately showed up to find out where they got the money from.
“I found them there in the gorge,” the man answered.
- Not there anymore, godfather?
“There are some more, if you want, let’s go get them,” the man answered his godfather.
- Let's go! - exclaimed the godfather.
They went to the cave together. They came, pulled out two bags and loaded them on a mule, and when the godfather came home, unloaded the mule and untied the bags, he saw that all the money had turned into coal.
