Many years ago, four scientists traveled with a caravan through the Kavir desert. In the evening they all sat together around a large fire and shared their impressions. They all admired the camels. Truly, the camels' unpretentiousness, endurance, strength and incomprehensible patience were amazing.
“We all have a pen,” said one of them. - Let's write or draw something in honor of the camel and glorify it.
With these words, he took the parchment scroll and headed into the tent where the lamp was burning. A few minutes later he came out and showed his work to his friends. He drew a camel getting up after resting. The drawing was so good that the camel seemed alive. The second entered the tent and soon returned with a short business essay on the benefits that camels bring to the caravan. The third one wrote a charming poem. Finally, the fourth went to the tent and asked not to disturb him.
Several hours passed, the fire in the fire had long gone out, and the friends had already fallen asleep, and the creaking of a pen and monotonous singing could still be heard from the dimly lit tent. In vain the friends waited for their comrade for three whole days. The tent hid him as securely as the earth that closed behind Aladdin.
Finally, on the fifth day, the most diligent of all the diligent ones came out of the tent. Black shadows framed his eyes, his cheeks were sunken, and his chin was covered in stubble. With a tired gait and a sour expression on his face, as if he had eaten green lemons, he walked up to his friends and with annoyance threw a bunch of parchment scrolls on the carpet in front of them. On the outside of the first scroll was written in large letters in full width: “The ideal camel, or the Camel as it should be.”
