The fairest punishment

One day Mulla was appointed as a judge. His own daughter came running to him with a complaint:

“Today, when no one was home,” she said, crying, “my cousin came.” Seeing that I was alone, he kissed me. What should I do now?

Mulla thought for a while and replied:

“All the books I’ve read since I became a judge say that the harshest, fairest punishment is to pay back in kind.” And that’s why you must go to your brother tomorrow and kiss him.
