The cherished tale of the sands

The cherished tale of the sands
Enlight

The stream, having overcome all obstacles on the way, reached the desert. Here he discovered that his waters were being absorbed by sand. He knew that he had to cross the desert, beyond which the snow-capped mountains could be seen.

A voice coming from the desert itself whispered:

“You won’t be able to cross the desert.” You will either disappear or turn into a swamp. Surrender to the will of the wind, it will carry you!

- But then I will lose my freedom! - the stream objected.

“You value freedom because you don’t know your nature.”

When the stream heard this, memories came flooding back to him that he had once flown with the wind. And the sands whispered:

- Be bolder, this is the only way you will understand your essence! The stream turned to steam, the wind caught it

and carried it to the treasured mountains. He flew over the sands, experiencing the happiness of flight.

“Yes, now I know my true nature,” thought the stream, descending like a shower to the tops of the mountains.
