And to the indignant cries of Set, they crowned Horus with the White Crown of Upper Egypt.
- Stop! - Seth cried out - Will the rank really be given to my younger brother, while I, his older brother, are there?! Remove the crown from Horus's head!
Ra-Horakhta shone the crown from the head of the son of Isis, and Set, turning to him, said:
“Let’s resolve our dispute through a competition: let’s turn into hippopotamuses and throw ourselves into the Nile.” Whoever emerges before three months has passed will be considered a loser, and his opponent will receive the rank of ruler.
The choir agreed. Both enemies immediately turned into hippopotamuses and dived into the abyss.

Isis's heart went cold when she realized that she had mistakenly injured her son. And the goddess ordered the harpoon:
- Unhook from him, look: this is my son Khor, this is my child!
The harpoon came unhooked. Isis pulled him out of the depths, swung him and threw him into the water again. This time the blow was accurate: the copper dug into Seth’s body.
“What have I done against you, my sister Isis?” - the wounded god prayed. - Call your harpoon, let it release me, for I am your brother by mother, Isis!
The heart of good Isis trembled and she took pity on Seth. And Seth kept calling out to his sister:
“Did you really love a stranger more than your maternal brother Seth?”

“Then I will find him,” said Hathor and went into the desert. Soon she managed to find the son of Isis. He lay in the desert and cried. [Hathor] caught a gazelle, milked it, then poured fresh milk into Horus's eye sockets - and Horus regained his sight.
