One day the Jade Emperor saw the sisters and sent them a swallow as a gift. The swallow flew over them, circled and shouted “e-e-e”! The sisters caught the bird and put it in a jade casket. Later, when the delicious food was eaten and the music stopped playing, the sisters opened the chest, but... there was no sign of the swallows. She flew north and never returned. And there were two eggs left in the casket. The sisters became sad and began to sing: “Swallow, the swallow has flown away! Swallow, the swallow has flown away!
According to legend, this was the very first song. Jiandi thought: “Don’t let the swallow eggs go to waste,” and swallowed them. She didn’t even know that it was by the will of the Jade Emperor that she ate the swallow’s eggs. He decided that a strong Yin tribe should arise on the land of China. And the ancestor of the tribe should be the wise flood tamer Se. It was Jiandi who gave birth to him. Every person from the Yin tribe knows that his ancestor descended from a black swallow bird, and respectfully calls him “the black prince.”
