The Almighty endowed Svyatogor with such strength that he could not leave the Holy Mountains, for Mother Cheese Earth did not hold him.
The Thunderer Ilm (or Perun) found out about that powerhouse of Svyatogor and decided to test it. He mounted the Storm-horse and went to the Holy Mountains. I got to Svyatogor and said that I was challenging him to a fight. And Svyatogor answered him:
- Where can you find my powerhouse? You are strong, god Ilm, among the Svarozhichi - you will not be able to overcome the son of the Damp Earth!
Ilm sees that he cannot cope with Svyatogor. And then he decided to fraternize with him. And they rode together through the Holy Mountains.
Then the brothers-in-arms saw that a traveler was walking ahead. A saddle bag is slung over the traveler's shoulder. They began to catch up with him, let the horses gallop, but they could not catch up.
They called out to a passerby, who stopped. And then they asked what he was hiding in his purse. A passerby put down his purse and said:
“If you pick up your purse, you’ll find out.” Ilm tried to lift him up, he was exhausted, but he couldn’t, only getting stuck in the ground up to his knees.
Then Svyatogor himself got down to business. He tore the purse off the ground and sank waist-deep into the ground.
And Svyatogor said:
- What’s in your bag that I can’t lift it? Apparently, death has come for me, Holy One! A passerby answered Svyatogor:
- This bag contains earthly cravings, the Black Stone itself lies in it.
— And then Ilm and Svyatogor asked:
- Who will you be, passer-by, by your patronymic name?
- Veles, I am the son of Surya and Amelfoy.
Thus, what was spoken by the Almighty was fulfilled. The Stone defeated Svyatogor, and he turned into a mountain (Ararat), and in heaven he became Svyatovit.
The Great Flood occurred from the blow of the god Ilm on the Stone. And then the Svyatogorovo kingdom and the Pomeranian-Altyn kingdom of Plenki (Atlantis) perished.
The successor of Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean was Atlantis in the Black Sea region and Asia Minor.
Some of the Slavs (Vends and Auts) also consider themselves heirs of the Atlanteans, for they lived side by side with the Atlanteans in the Holy Mountains, like Perun (Ilm) and Svyatogor.
Many peoples of Europe and Asia descend from Svyatogor and his daughters.
