The poor man had two daughters.
another for the potter. Time has passed. One day my wife says
- Go check on your daughters. Find out what they need
what they are happy about.
The poor man listened to his wife.
- What should I tell you? You can see for yourself how hot it is,” the plowman’s son-in-law answers. “If it doesn’t rain this week, we’ll go to hell—the bread will burn in the field!”
The poor man went to his youngest daughter.
— I made a lot of dishes. If you sell it at the market, you will have something to live on in the winter.
“How can I tell you,” says the son-in-law. “If the heat stays for another week, my bowls and jugs will dry out.”
The poor man returned home.
“Well, how are our daughters doing?” asks the wife.
“This week, either our eldest daughter will go around the world, or our youngest,” her husband answers.
