The donkey was very happy. He thought that the water gave new strength to his muscles, and decided to take a second swim here if necessary. And the owner got very angry and next time he loaded the donkey with sponges.
When the donkey found himself back on the river bank, he remembered the incident with the salt and jumped into the water to lighten his load. The owner beat the donkey, but the donkey did not get up. In the end, the sponges absorbed so much water that the donkey was unable to rise, and he stood up only when the owner removed all the load from him.
