Once upon a time there lived an old man and an old woman. They had one and only son. They married their son and took their daughter-in-law into the house.
One morning the old man went after the sheep and saw that one goat was missing. The old man says to his daughter-in-law:
- Well, daughter-in-law, one of our goats is missing, maybe you should go look for it?
“Okay,” said the daughter-in-law and went to look for the goat.
I searched for a long time and barely found it. The goat was killed by wolves and left near a tree across the river. She turned and quickly went home. She wanted to tell her father about this, but she doesn’t know what to do: after all, at her wedding she bowed to people whose names were Shono (wolf), Wuhan (water), Modon (tree).
After thinking, she said to her father:
“Understand, father, I can’t name the people I bowed to at the wedding.” Our bleating one was lifted up by the howling there, behind the current one.
After that, that daughter-in-law began to be considered the smartest.
