Nasreddin somehow wanted to steal fruit from the stall, but the owner had a fox, which he left to guard the stall. Nasreddin overheard him telling his fox:

“Foxes are more dexterous than dogs, and I want you to guard the stall with cunning.” There are always a lot of thieves around. When you see someone doing something, ask yourself why they are doing it and whether it is threatening the safety of the stall.

When the man left, the fox sat down in front of the stall and secretly glanced at Nasreddin, who was located on the lawn opposite. Nasreddin immediately lay down and closed his eyes. The fox thought: “Sleeping does not mean doing something.”

While she was watching Nasrudin, she also felt tired and fell asleep. Then Nasreddin sneaked past her to the stall and stole the fruit.
