Six loaves of bread

One man bought six loaves of bread every day. His friend asked why he was buying six loaves. The man answered him like this:

“I eat one myself, throw one away, repay a debt with two, and give two as a loan.”

His friend was surprised and asked him to explain how this happened.

- What a fool you are! I eat one myself, I give the one I throw away to my mother-in-law, I pay off the debt with two - I give it to my parents, and I lend the other two to my children.
