One day a Tiarian was going to the melik and bringing him a jug of wine as a gift. It was autumn. He walked for a long time and finally reached the village where the melik lived. Not far from the village, he noticed a high, steep hill on which grew vines hung with bunches of grapes.
The traveler was very tired, and he wanted to refresh himself with juicy, ripe berries. He climbed up the hill and began to eat grapes on both cheeks. He ate until he was satisfied.
At this time, the owner of the vineyard noticed him. And he began to scold the traveler, who had completely stripped several grapevines.
- Scoundrel! - he shouted. -Where did you go? Did I prepare this for your dirty mouth? Go to hell!
He dragged him down, brought him to the melik and began to complain:
- All-good! This man got into my vineyard and robbed it.
- Young man! How did you end up on this high and steep hill in a strange vineyard? - Melik asked.
- All-good! - answered the traveler. - I walked towards you along this road. But then it seemed to me that I had lost my way and that the shortest way to you was over the hill, and I climbed up it with this heavy jug.
Hearing this answer, everyone laughed. With this ridiculous answer, which made everyone laugh, the man saved himself from the noose.
