A shepherd got lost during a snowstorm and came across a bear's den. The bear says: - Hello, friend, what are you doing? He answers:
- It’s bad, I got caught in a snowstorm.
- Well, where is your family?
- I don’t know, I got lost.
- Okay, come in. Torbaza, take off your hat. Well, let's sleep.
The bear sleeps for a long time, and the man sleeps with him. But then we woke up. The bear asks:
- Who is at home? Answers:
— I have a wife and little son at home. Also an old father and an old mother. And they cry, they say: “The son must have died,”
In the spring the bear came out of the den. That man, it turns out, slept all winter. Bear says:
- Hey, friend, wake up! It became light. It's getting warm. And he answers: “I want to sleep!”
Then he came out and asked: “Grandfather, where are my skis?” I put them here.
And the bear says:
- Friend, the foxes ate them a long time ago. The man asks:
- Where is my family? The bear answers:
- Lives nearby.
And the man says:
- I'm hungry. Bear to him:
- Wait a minute!
And the bear entered the den and tore off a piece of his own, the bear’s, thigh. Then he left.
- Hey, friend, here's some meat for you. Says:
— Your family lives close here. The man took the meat. He came home and told his parents how he slept.
