A hurricane passed over a farm. He did not destroy anything and only drove the young cockerel into a gallon bottle. People came from miles away to see the rooster in the bottle. Eventually the rooster grew so large that it no longer fit in the bottle, and the owner had to break the bottle and release the rooster.
2. Corn snow.
One man sowed a field with corn. On a hot day, the corn began to pop and covered the entire field with corn flakes. The mules, which were standing nearby in a harness, decided that it was snowing and froze to death.
3. Dog bickering.
Two dogs got into a fight at the sawmill. In the heat of bickering, one of them fell under a saw, and it sawed him in half. The back half with the hind legs got scared and ran away, but the front half only got angrier and defeated the other dog.
4. Cat with a wooden paw.
One cat's front paw was bitten off by a trap, and the owner whittled her paw out of wood. Now this cat, when lying in wait for a mouse, hits it on the head with a wooden paw.
5. How a carpenter covered the fog with shingles.
The carpenter covered the barn with shingles. Suddenly a thick fog descended. The carpenter was impatient to finish his work, so he did not stop working, although he could no longer see anything. When the fog cleared, the carpenter realized that he had covered not only the barn with shingles, but also the empty space behind the barn.
6. Dog lantern.
One man was very surprised when he noticed that his dog was catching fireflies. He followed her and saw that she was feeding them to a frog. When the frog eats many, many fireflies, it begins to glow, and the dog carries it with him as a lantern.
7. Big mosquitoes.
One night, two huge mosquitoes argued in the room and woke up the man who was sleeping in it.
- Let's eat it now! - said one mosquito.
“We’ll wait until tomorrow,” the other objected.
“No, let’s eat it now,” said the first one, “otherwise the big ones will come tomorrow and we won’t get anything.”
