Once upon a time there lived an old man who was helped by a certain young man with a small amount of money. And then one day, leaving the house, the old man saw how the young man was being led to execution for the crime that he allegedly committed.
The old man immediately shouted: “The King is dead!” - and this led the soldiers into such confusion that the young man was able to escape. The old man was immediately arrested and taken to the palace, where he appeared before the king, who asked:
“Why did you do this, venerable old man, and why did you want my death?”
He answered:
“My words that you were dead did not harm anyone, but saved a life.”
The king was so surprised that he ordered the old man to be released.
