Rynnynalpylin's Revenge
Enlight

There lived two siblings, the third was their sister. Her name was Kilivnaut. The brothers grew up and began to exercise to become strong. Then they became so strong that when shooting from bows, the wooden heels of the arrows broke. Finally they began to shoot arrows with bone heels.

Their sister was unmarried.

And so Kilivnaut began to go into the tundra every day. It turns out that she secretly met with a foreigner... However, her siblings did not know about this. And when Kilivnaut became pregnant, one day, having met her secret foreigner husband in the tundra, she began to say to him:

- Kill my brothers.

However, her foreign husband said to her:

- Why would I kill them, because they are your brothers! Besides, I won't be able to kill them since they are very strong. If I attack them, they will most likely kill me. Then Kilivnaut said:

“If you don’t kill my brothers, then when I give birth to your child, they will kill me and say: You married our enemy!”

Then the stranger said to her:

- Well, okay; But how are we going to kill your brothers?

Kilivnaut answered him:

- We can kill them easily. I will return home, and as soon as they fall asleep, I will go to the yukolnik, where their bows are, cut the strings on their bows with a knife, and take the spears further into the tundra. Come to us at night. This way we can easily kill them.

The foreigner said to her:

- Okay, go home!

Kilivnaut set off. I came home. Brother asked:

– Kilivnaut, why didn’t you come home for so long? Kilivnaut replied:

– It’s so simple, I walked on the tundra for a long time.

Then it got dark. The brothers fell asleep. Kilivnaut went to the schoolboy. She took the brothers’ bows, cut the bowstrings with a knife, and took the spears to the tundra. At night her foreign husband came. Kilivnaut immediately shouted to her brothers:

- Oh, the enemies have come to you, get up!

The brothers jumped up, ran to the yukolnik, climbed onto the yukolnik - it turns out that the strings of their bows were cut. Then they rushed to where the spears had been placed before. There they found no copies and then ran home. At this time, their enemies began to kill them. As soon as they were wounded by their enemies, the brothers pretended to be dead. Then the foreign husband said to Kilivnaut:

– Come here, you said: let’s kill the brothers! I told you the truth: you don’t need to kill them, come and look at what we did to them, we killed them, here they are!

Kilivnaut came, looked at the brothers and said to her foreign husband:

- Maybe they haven’t died yet, well, check if they are dead! Try cutting off the upper lip of one, start with your older brother.

The foreign husband cut off the upper lip of his elder brother, but he did not move. Kilivnaut said:

“This one really died, come on, cut off your younger brother’s upper lip.”

Immediately the stranger cut off the upper lip of his wife’s younger brother, and he moved, since he was still young and did not have such a strong heart as his older brother, so it seemed to him very painful.

Then Knlivnaut said to her husband:

- Kill.

Immediately the stranger pinned his younger brother Kilivnaut with a spear, and he died immediately. The alien said:

- Now we will go to my house. We went home, arrived, and began to live together. Rynnynalpylyn stood up and began to burn (bury) his brother. Having finished burning, he began to get ready to visit his relatives. He got ready well and went to Alutorka, since his close relatives were there. There he began to recover. Then Rynnynalpylin recovered. He spent ten years there and became even stronger. And then he said:

“Perhaps it’s time to get ready.” Remember, we have a sister, I will find her and destroy her with a painful death.

Rynnynalpylin immediately began to gather his close relatives that he had, cousins, and nephews. Having gathered them, Rynnynalpylyn told them:

- Let's go find our sister and destroy her with a painful death! They told him:

- Well, let's go!

In early spring, we headed north on the crust. We arrived at the camp in the morning. Upon arrival, Rynnynalpylen asked the workers of these foreigners:

– Which is my sister’s yurt? Those foreign workers showed him the yurt and said:

– Over there, among the other yurts, is their yurt. Rynnynalpylyn took the lasso and went there, approached the yurt, threw the lasso over the plexus of the upper ends of the poles of the yurt's frame and immediately pulled hard and overturned the yurt on its side. His sister jumped up and said to her husband:

- Hey, from which side are we being attacked, which enemies? Rynnynalpylyn told her:

- Be silent, lipless enemies have attacked you! Recognizing her brother, the sister said to him:

- Be careful, there are your nephews and nieces here. Rynnynalpylin answered her:

“I don’t have any nephews or nieces or any relatives here.”

Here Rynnynalpylin said to the workers of the foreign tribes:

- Come on, drive the herd of deer here!

The foreign workers went to the herd. They drove the reindeer to the camp. They caught two untrained old reindeer bulls and brought them close to the yurt. The relatives grabbed their sister and dragged her to the place where the untrained reindeer bulls were kept. Rynnynalpylyn cut holes at the ankles of his sister’s legs and pulled and tied belts through them; the other ends tied the belts to untrained reindeer bulls. The bulls were released. The bulls quickly rushed in different directions. Kilivnaut was torn in two. Then they caught and brought those reindeer bulls. Now they were all connected to each other. One was dragging one leg, the other was dragging Kilivnaut’s other leg.

Kilivnaut's husband began to cry. Rynnynalpylyn killed the children of Kilivnaut, reasoning thus: If these children are not killed, then later, when they grow up, they will become my enemies. Rynnynalpylin said to Kilivnaut’s husband:

“I won’t kill you, because you weren’t to blame.” Our sister is to blame for everything alone, and therefore we destroyed her with a painful death.

And Rynnynalpylyn also said to the enemies:

– Now we will start getting ready to leave home. Only I will separate half of your herd. You may ask why half of our herd is being separated by Rynnynalpylin. I am taking half of your herd because you killed my younger brother before. You did even worse to us. If you had not done something bad to me before, now I would not have taken away half of your reindeer, and I would not have killed my own sister with a shameful death, and I would not have killed my nephews. I was also angry with you because you cut off my upper lip. None of you said: No need to cut out your lip! I will take some of your workers for myself, and I will leave some of your workers to you.

Rynnynalpylyn divided the herd in two, took half of the workers, and left half for them.

Then Rynnynalpylin and his people went home. Upon arriving home, they began to call him Avamylki (lipless).

Avamylki said to the workers of the foreign tribes:

- Now you can live as you can. Here is your flock, protect it. Just kill deer for me when I want deer meat. Then we lived like that.
