Someone sent a servant to the market to buy fish. The purchased fish turned out to be rotten. For this, the owner offered the servant one of three punishments: either eat the fish, or receive a hundred blows, or pay a hundred minas.

“I’ll eat fish,” the servant chose.

He began to eat, but before he could finish, he felt sick.

“No,” he said, “it’s better to get a hundred blows.”

At the sixtieth blow, he felt that he could not stand it any longer.

- Stop! - he shouted. - I cry for a hundred minutes.

It turned out that he ate rotten fish, was beaten, and lost his money.
