This was when the Swedes ravaged the Sami land. The Swedes approached Potozero.
In those places there was a small village.
In this village lived two inseparable friends, one was called Rekhp (Partridge), the other was Lokri (Lukerya).
At the same time, they saw in a dream that the Swedes were coming, woke up and told the men about it.
The people, warned by their friends, left the village, but Rekhp and Lokri remained.
The Swedes arrived in bloody clothes; Along the way they robbed and killed everyone they came across.
The Swedes forced the women to wash their clothes and underwear, while they themselves remained naked sitting in the vezha.
The women began to boil the laundry in a cauldron, boiled it and took the bundles to the lake. There they lowered the laundry under the ice and went into the mountains.
This is how the friends punished the Swedish robbers.
It was freezing. The Swedes could not leave the vezha naked. All their food ran out, they couldn't keep the fire going, and everyone froze.
The waraka on which Rekhp and Lokri escaped has since been called Lokri-Paita'var (Lukerya's buttermilk), and the place where the village was - Rekhp-Chalm (Kuropatkin Strait)
