One day a swan comes to a raven, and there they are already preparing a wedding feast. The swan sees it, but the raven’s children are all black as soot.
And the swan thought: “The raven said that his daughter is very beautiful, but she is very ugly.”
But there is nothing to do - the swan cannot refuse this word, and he decides to marry the raven’s daughter. They also bring him a wedding treat - blood stew. The swan began to eat. As soon as he stuck his beak into the stew, his beak turned black. Then he, frightened, ran. And while running away, he overturned the vessel with the blood soup at his feet, and his feet turned black. Since then, the raven and the swan have had no friendship.
