Rabbit and Fox

Once upon a time there lived two brothers. One was called Rabbit, and the other was Fox. They competed with each other all the time. Younger - The Rabbit can’t beat his older brother the Fox.

But one day it occurred to the Rabbit that he could defeat his older brother: to do this, he just had to dig a hole, making the entrance wide and the inside narrow. Then, having teased his older brother, he himself, small and nimble, will be able to squeeze into it and jump out, but the hefty Fox will probably get stuck. “And I’ll thresh him and run away,” the Rabbit decided. “I’ll beat him so hard that he’ll give up the ghost.”

In response, the Fox also planned to harass his younger brother. On Cayman's advice, he should pretend to be dead and even bare his teeth. The rabbit will see the Fox's head and believe that he is dead. And when he bends over the Fox, he will grab him and do whatever he pleases with him. “This is the only way you can repay him for what he did to you,” said Cayman.”

True, when the Fox came to the water, he saw that the Rabbit was already lying there, baring his teeth. But he knew well that the dead do not bare their teeth. In addition, the Rabbit's ear was trembling.

- Yeah! - exclaimed the Fox. “So you’re just pretending to be dead and trying to grab me!” But you can't fool me. Who knows who you want to grab? But you won't catch me!

The Fox looked at the Rabbit and did not approach him. He ran away. Left. And he didn't even turn around to look at his brother.
