Programmer and manager

Programmer and manager

A man flying in a hot air balloon finds himself lost. He went down a little lower and noticed a woman on the ground. Descending a little further, he turned to her:

- Excuse me, could you help? I agreed to meet with a friend an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am now.

“You are in a balloon 30 feet from the surface of the Earth, between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 degrees west longitude,” the woman answered.

— You must be a programmer?

- Yes, but how did you guess?

“You gave me an absolutely accurate answer, but I have absolutely no idea what to do with this information, and I’m still lost.” Frankly speaking, you didn't help me at all.

— And you are probably a manager?

- Yes. How did you guess?

“You don’t know where you are or where you’re going.” You rose to where you are thanks to the air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect people below you to solve your problems. And finally, now you are in the same position you were in before meeting me, but for some reason now it’s my fault.
