Once upon a time there lived a widow and she had five children. Every morning the widow left for work, and the children remained at home. She left food for the children and locked the house.
One day, a widow came home from work, and the children told her, crying, that during lunch, a calf suddenly ran out from under the stove and ate everything that was on the plate of the little one, Sorele. On the second day the same thing happened again. Children cry - they are afraid of the calf. But the poor woman has to go to work and has no time to bother with children.
One day, when the children were seated around the table, the calf ran out from under the stove again and began to eat from little Sorele’s plate. Then Sorele got angry and hit the calf on the head with a spoon. The calf immediately crumbled into a pile of gold.
When the poor widow returned from work and saw the gold, she realized that happiness had come to her.
