1) Proverbs of Solomon. A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.

2) Unrighteous treasures do not bring benefit, but righteousness delivers from death.

3) The Lord will not allow the soul of the righteous to suffer hunger, but He will snatch away the wealth of the wicked.

4) A lazy hand makes you poor, but the hand of the diligent makes you rich.

5) He who gathers during the summer is a wise son, but he who sleeps during the harvest is a dissolute son.

6) Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence will stop the mouth of the wicked.

7) The memory of the righteous will be blessed, but the name of the wicked will be detested.

8) A wise man receives the commandments with his heart, but a fool stumbles with his lips.

9) He who walks in integrity walks safely; and whoever changes his ways will be punished.

10) He who blinks his eyes causes trouble, but a fool with his lips stumbles.

11) The mouth of the righteous is the source of life, but violence will stop the mouth of the wicked.

12) Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.

13) In the mouth of a wise man is wisdom, but in the body of a fool is a rod.

14) The wise preserve knowledge, but the mouth of a fool means near destruction.

15) The wealth of a rich man is his strong city, the trouble of the poor is their poverty.

16) The labors of the righteous lead to life, the success of the wicked leads to sin.

17) He who keeps instruction is on the path to life; but he who rejects reproof wanders.

18) He who hides hatred has lying lips; and whoever spreads slander is stupid.

19) When you talk too much, sin cannot be avoided, but he who restrains his lips is wise.

20) Choice silver is the tongue of the righteous, but the heart of the wicked is nothingness.

21) The mouth of the righteous feeds many, but fools die for lack of understanding.

22) The blessing of the Lord - it enriches and does not bring sorrow with it.

23) For a fool, a criminal act is like fun, but wisdom is characteristic of a reasonable person.

24) What the wicked fears will befall him, but the desire of the righteous will be fulfilled.

25) As a whirlwind passes, so the wicked is no more; but the righteous are on an everlasting foundation.

26) What vinegar is to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the lazy to those who send him.

27) The fear of the Lord increases the days, but the years of the wicked will be shortened.

28) The hope of the righteous is joy, but the hope of the wicked will perish.

29) The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless and a fear to those who practice iniquity.

30) The righteous will never be shaken, but the wicked will not dwell on the earth.

31) The lips of the righteous flow from wisdom, but the tongue of evil will be cut off.

32) The mouth of the righteous knows what is good, but the mouth of the wicked knows what is evil.
