When the girl told her lover the good news, he told her that he was not ready to become a father and gave her money for an abortion. The girl silently took the money and left, which the young man took as consent. He saw through the window a girl walking down the street and crying.
After giving her a few days to come to her senses, he called, but the phone was silent. He arrived at the apartment where she was renting, and the owner gave him a note in which it was written that everything was in order and a request not to disturb him anymore.
At first, the guy blamed the girl for the fact that their wonderful relationship was broken, but then he calmed down and lived his normal life. I started novels, but in each of them something was missing. Everywhere he looked only for her.
A few years later, he finally decided to find the one that haunted him, and he found it. It turned out that his son was growing up. The girl gave birth to and raised him herself. She introduced the baby to his father. He began to come to his son and communicate with him. The mother herself had recently gotten married and was already pregnant with her husband’s child.
One day, when he came to visit his son, the guy noticed a photo frame pushed behind the books and, unable to resist, looked in. In it, under glass, lay the very money that he gave to his beloved, and behind it was the inscription: “Is a person’s life really worth that much?!”
